Operation Forty Suns
Forty Suns exists to bring together all things space, in a way everyone can relate.
We're out to inspire the world to want to know more. To make their own reach for the next frontier.
Resources abound for staying informed and getting involved. We list a bunch on our Explore page.
We're calling this first twelve months from our inception Year Zero. The first edition of the Forty Suns book, likewise, is the Zero Edition.
At its heart Forty Suns is a statement. Fans of Forty Suns are fans of the new space age, meaning they share a point of view:
"Space is the answer."
Our goal is to get people interested in being interested in the next frontier.
We believe pretty strongly that, if you were simply to meander through the pages of this site, reading what we have right here, you'd end up intrigued.

Even if you don't think you'll ever be interested in space, but want to feel more positive about humanity's prospects, Forty Suns can help.

How Does One "Forty Suns"?
The answer is pretty easy, and pretty fun. Add space to the mix. Live your life as you do, do your favorite things, watch your favorite shows, hang out with your favorite friends, go to your favorite restaurants and eat your favorite foods. Among that, now and again, throw a little attention toward space things.
You'll be surprised how that builds.

Forty Suns is founded on a simple formula:
Awareness + Interest = Change
That formula could apply to any field. Here we’re talking space.
Whether change you make directly, or change others make as a result of your interest (the mark of a true fan), those elements drive results.
Attention is hard to come by these days. The fact that you've paused long enough among the hundred things both large and small demanding your attention to be here, on the Forty Suns site ... Well, that makes us happy.
Space, similarly, just needs a little attention. Not all of us will be all in. Not all of us will be consumed by it.
But all of us should be aware of it.
How? Start with an easy goal.
Maybe find a news tidbit on something happening in space. See what about it interests you. Next week find another.
After a few weeks set a new goal. Find someone to share one of those interesting tidbits with. See what they think. Discuss. Who knows? Maybe they'll start checking out space stuff too.
